Maju karte/A map of home

9 Feb

Izlasiju briniskigu gramatu: Randa Jarrar “Maju karte”. Jus jau zinat, ka man tuva ir maju tema.

I read a beautiful book: Randa Jarrar “A Map of Home”. You know that I like this subject! Nidali has Egyptian-Greek roots from her mother and Palestinian from her father. She was born in America, spent her childhood in Kuwait and Egypt and flew with her family to America, escaping from Iraqian invasion in Kuwait. This is a story about search, about feelings and cultures.

Seit fragments, lai jauka lasisana!/ here is an extract, enjoy!
