Saksim ar to, ka vakar beidzot redzeju zurku! Atlavos nobildet gaiteni.
Otra zurka glabas zel sol, kad soloju pretim metro pietura, ejot atpakal no neveiksmiga meginajuma Nujorkas karte atzimet punktu – manas majas.
Jaukaks piedzivojums bija mans pirmais friziera apmeklejums Nujorka!
Braucot uz kugiti ieveroju, ka SoHo atverts jauns sporta klubs, kas strada 24 stundas diennakti!Ak, nujorkiesi tiesam ir sportiski!
Seit varat apskatit, kadi plakati=reklama tiek izlikti kugiti!
New York has everything – things you need and those you don’t.
Yesterday I finally saw a rat, not that I was dying to see one but I know there are a lot of them in the city!
The first one was in a yard where I went to see the room for rent; the room, as you can imagine, was awful – kind of a rat hole :) I took only one picture of the corridor.
The second rat ran away from me at the metro station when I was coming back from another failure to point “my home” on NY’s map. Anyhow, I was surprised to discover that even in Lower East side there are some ugly apartment houses with selling corridors and, well, rats!
A better adventure was my first hair dresser’s visit in NYC! A co-worker suggested The BeeHive Salon in Brooklyn. It was the best NY’s salon in 2006 and included in Top 10 in 2009. My hair dresser was Louie, I started to sing the song of course :)
The place was nice and stylish, they had a kind of cooperation with a restaurant next door and some snacks and wine were included in price. Well, I should mention that I paid $15 only for the bangs… So I ate and drank for “free” :)
Then, on my way to the ferry, I noticed that there is a new sports club in SoHo, open 24/7!!! Well, New Yorkers are really sporty!!!
At the end, you have a chance to see what ads are on the ferry! Enjoy! :)
