Pauze / During the brake

20 Mar

Savukart vakardienas ballite bija ists darbs, kura jautriba noskaties tikai ka kino ekrana. Jautriba sakas, kad minutes 15 pec tas sakuma, iesledzas ugunsgreka signalizacija! Ta turpinaja gaudot ari kadas min 15, un, lai ari ta iesledzas nepamatoti, es apbrinoju, ka cilveki visai mierigi turpinaja pastaigaties pa telpam, iemalkojot sampanieti! :)

Paris minutes pirms tika vertas durvis:

Par $10 vareja nopirkt loterijas bileti, kura vareja vinnet Pola Stranda fotografiju, Polaroid kameru, Martina Para kolekcijas dalu, cikturgadigu viskiju, dazadus ielugumus uz VIP makslas pasakumiem un balvu, kuru es loti butu gribejusi vinnet – melbaltu portretu ar briniskigo 20×24″ kameru!

Vel vareja degustet viskijus:

Ta ka man bija jastrada, parejais paliek aizkulises! Diemzel ari mans izskats, par kuru sanemu juru komplimentu… :)

I knew that New York is a fast city but I didn’t believe it would pull me in its rhythm so quickly – you run and work all the time! I remember now with admiration the indolent French life stile – work to have money and then live and take pleasure of that!

So my days have started to run quickly as the wind and I run after. Sometimes I pause and remind myself I need to breathe, then I enjoy the first buds to edge out and run forward.

Yesterday’s party was a real work – I could watch the happy people as in the film. A certain fun started just 15 minutes later when we opened the door – the fire alarm went on! It kept for 15 minutes and I could only be surprised how people didn’t react but kept walking around, drinking champagne!

Here are some photos just before we opened the doors for the public.

For $10 you could purchase a raffle ticket and win a photograph by Paul Strand, a Polaroid camera, a piece from Martin Paar collection, a bottle of an old (don’t know how old) whiskey, some invitations to VIP art events and a prize I would have loved to win – a black and white portrait by 20×24″ camera!

You could have a whiskey degustation too. As I had to work, the rest stays at the backstage, unfortunately, also my outfit for which I was complimented not only once :)
