You made my day!

9 Jul

Prieks, prieks, prieks!

Tagad man tikai jāpārvar karstuma dullums un jāatrod jaunas mājas, kurās ar vislielāko prieku uzņemšu ciemiņus!

This excellent expression for which I don’t know a good equivalent in Latvian, is said in praise for wonderful news, for good feelings, for a good day (and not only). I said this to my sister who wrote me great news – the ticket Riga-New York is finally in her pocket and October is announcing in a sign of the big city! I’m so happy!

Now I need to deal with the tipsiness of the heat and find a new great place where I will wait for my guests!

izklausās jau, ka māsa tā arī paliks Ņujorkā (biļete tikai Rīga – Ņujorka), tā kā prieki varētu ieilgt :)

tas bija pārbaudījums vērīgiem lasītājiem – viens ir! ;)
