Ziemas stāsti/Winter Stories

11 Dec

Man ārkārtīgi patīk kāds stāsts no tēta jaunības.

I particularly love one story from my dad’s youth. Once he had unfortunately broken his leg. He didn’t attend the university but it didn’t bother him to enjoy this forced vacation. His mom had made a special boot for his body cast and dad frequented the cinema. He saw the blockbuster of the time – “The Sound of Music” for 17 times! My dad says that this number is forged but likes to add another tall tale. When he took a day off the cinema, he went for a walk to the forest and came home with a rabbit. My grandmother laughed that my dad has caused the heart failure because of his look. That’s why my dad doesn’t bugger about the rabbits anymore and added a wolf to his wall of trophies. That’s how he is.
